Do we offer Face to Face appointments?
We actively encourage Face to Face appointments as we feel the most effective way to treat you is in seeing you in person, so that we can formulate an effective treatment programme.
Sensible loose, comfortable clothing. For example it is much easier to assess a knee when wearing shorts.
What are your payment methods?
Cash or card is accepted at the Barrow Physio Clinic.
The initial assessment is £35. It is also £35 for any subsequent follow up treatment. An initial assessment or follow up will last for 45 minutes.
Payment of £35 is immediately due following an initial assessment/treatment.
You may also wish to pay in advance for example if paying for a gift voucher.
An appointment cancellation within 48 hours of when an appointment is due will result is a 50% chargeable cancellation fee of £17.50. This is to be payable within 24 hours of the cancellation. No subsequent appointments will be offered until full payment is received.
An appointment cancelled within 24 hours of when an appointment is due will result in a 100% chargeable cancellation fee of £35 . This is to be payable within 24 hours of the cancellation. No subsequent appointments will be offered until full payment is received
This is currently mandatory unless you have proof of medical exemption
What precautions are in place?
Your Physio will be wearing a mask and an apron.
The clinic is sanitised on a regular basis
Alcohol gel with me available for you to use.
Why do you need my personal information?
This is so that we can produce both accurate and comprehensive documentation. It enables us to maintain high quality client centred care records. Any information is secure and will not be passed onto any third party without your consent. The only exceptions being serious risk to staff members, the public or any other health professionals. Or if involves child or adult protection. We will inform you of any such reasons.
